Christopher R. Deluzio is an American politician and attorney currently serving as the U.S. Representative for Pennsylvania's 17th congressional district. A member of the Democratic Party, he has held this office since January 2023. Deluzio's district encompasses a significant portion of the northwestern suburbs and exurbs of Pittsburgh, including all of Beaver County. Early life and career

Christopher Deluzio was born on July 13, 1984, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to parents Vincent and Rita Deluzio. He grew up in Thornburg, a suburb of Pittsburgh, where he attended Bishop Canevin High School. During his high school years, he was involved in athletics, particularly baseball. After completing his secondary education, Deluzio pursued higher education at the United States Naval Academy, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 2006.

Following his graduation from the Naval Academy, Deluzio served in the United States Navy from 2006 to 2012. He held the position of surface warfare officer and was deployed to Iraq, where he worked alongside an Army civil affairs unit. His military service provided him with valuable experience and insights into leadership and public service.

After concluding his naval career, Deluzio transitioned to the legal profession. He attended Georgetown University Law Center, graduating magna cum laude with a Juris Doctor degree in 2013.
