Open Letter to the World

We know that politics is a deeply local matter—and that every country has its own systems, history, and laws. But the truth is, the leadership of the United States affects not only Americans, but the entire world.

Our project, The Candidate, is designed to open up the U.S. political process in a way that has never been done before: by giving the public a multi-year platform to discover and elevate talented Americans from all walks of life into the national conversation.

While only Americans can participate or vote, the ripple effects of what we are doing could benefit everyone. A better-informed American public, stronger candidates, and a more open path to leadership in the United States could all contribute to a more stable and thoughtful role for America on the world stage.
