Kambium Elijah "Kam" Buckner is an American politician and attorney currently serving as a Democratic member of the Illinois House of Representatives, representing the 26th district. Early life and career

Kam Buckner was born on May 12, 1985, and grew up on the South Side of Chicago. He attended Morgan Park High School, where he began to develop his leadership skills and community involvement. During his time at the university, he played football as an offensive tackle and defensive lineman for the Illinois Fighting Illini football team.
