Nima Kulkarni is an American immigration attorney and politician currently serving as a member of the Kentucky House of Representatives, representing the 40th district. She is a member of the Democratic Party and has been in office since January 2019. Early life and career

Nima Kulkarni was born on December 23, 1978, in India. At the age of six, she moved to the United States with her family, as her parents, Suhas and Surekha, sought better educational opportunities for their children, including Kulkarni and her brother Nikhil. Kulkarni received her primary and secondary education within the Jefferson County Public School system in Kentucky. She pursued higher education at the University of Louisville, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature. Kulkarni later attended the University of the District of Columbia David A.
