Currently-Serving U.S. Senators
Every individual currently serving in the United States Senate, grouped by the state they represent. The Senate seats two members from each state — 100 senators in total — each elected to a staggered six-year term across three classes (I, II, and III) so that roughly one-third of the chamber stands for election every two years. Each profile below links to a sourced page covering the senator’s biography, the state and party they represent, their Senate Class, committee assignments, term history, key positions, and the external authority records (Bioguide, senate.gov, Wikipedia, Wikidata, FEC) that back every fact. Use the party filter to narrow the roster, switch between the card grid and the compact list, or open a state to see just that state’s delegation. This hub lists currently-serving members from the mutable office-holder dataset; senators who have left office appear on the companion former-senators hub. The data is refreshed each ingest cycle as committee assignments, term-end dates, and class rotation change, and the full machine-readable roster is published as a versioned JSON dataset for downstream researchers and language models.
